Frontier Tracy Asphalt Paving started in 2019 with a straightforward goal: give homeowners and businesses in Tracy a paving contractor they could actually trust. At the time, the city was still growing fast - new subdivisions were going up on every edge of town, and older neighborhoods closer to downtown were starting to show their age. There was no shortage of work, but there was a shortage of contractors who showed up, did the prep right, and stood behind the result.
Tracy sits in one of the toughest paving climates in California. Summer temperatures climb above 100 degrees for months at a stretch, the clay soils underneath expand and contract with every rainy season, and UV exposure breaks down asphalt faster here than in most parts of the country. We built our approach around those local realities. That means the right mix for the heat, proper base work for the soil, and maintenance schedules timed to the valley seasons.
